International Education

The School of International Education (SIE) is the general office for all international students recruited in Zhengzhou University, which is in charge of all kinds of affairs of international students, such as admission, teaching & learning, living, etc. Cooperating with all schools of ZZU, SIE offers both degree and non-degree programs. Degree programs cover all degrees of bachelor, master, and doctor offered by schools of the University, while non-degree programs provide overseas students with foundation program and various Chinese language training programs. SIE itself offered bachelor program of MBBS, BDS, Medical Imaging, Anesthsiology,  foundation programs, and a serial of Chinese language programs.

There are approximately 2,700 overseas students from 115 countries or areas in SIE; among them over 80% are degree students. The graduates of SIE have made important contributions to the development of their home countries.

The School of International Education houses a Chinese language education base (accredited by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of State Council) and a Chinese international promotion base of Henan Province. Nowadays more and more overseas students come to Zhengzhou University to study Chinese, The Center for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language of SIE provides good learning conditions for overseas students to engage in advanced studies. SIE has also set up a Confucius College jointly with Indian Vellore Institute of Technology and a Confucius class with St Mary School in USA.

Zhengzhou University is conducting USMLE, PLAB, PMDC, MCI, AMC joint coaching classes to ensure the maximum success for our international medical students.

The School of International Education has carried out in-depth exchange and cooperation with world renowned institutions in various aspects; it will further strengthen its cooperation with overseas educational institutions by establishing vigorous platforms for future achievements.
