3. Pre-defense: 5 credits
4. Dissertation Defense: 15 credits
B. Training Mode
The training mode of doctors takes scientific research as its main task, emphasizes doctors’ abilities in conducting scientific research independently. In this mode, supervisor-responsible system is adopted and collective guidance of supervisor group is fully played. Supervisors should organize doctors to participate in major and key scientific research according to the requirement of training plan.Members of steering group should assist supervisors to do various works well, providing doctors favorable environment for study and research, making practical training plan and flexible training mode suitable for individual doctor according to their specific circumstance. This training mode encourages doctors to exert their subjective initiative, foster their study enthusiasm, initiative and innovation ability. This mode combines theories with practices, systematic course learning with scientific research. Students must attend academic lectures, academic reports, social practice and investigation to obtain corresponding credits and to foster their self-study ability, operational ability, expression ability and writing ability. Supervisors should together with doctors to draw up research programme, research methods and aims to be gained, discuss emerging problems, to ensure doctoral training quality.
