Ⅱ A Brief Introduction
Since setting up the master degree, microbiology and biochemical pharmacy now has recruited 15 postgraduates, thus with the required hardware and software conditions of carrying out microbial and biochemical pharmacy research. This subject involves the following three aspects of the research contents: The first is the research of synthetic pathway, product activity and mechanism of action about related drugs by microbial metabolism, such as channel regulation, anti-tumor metastasis,anti-inflammatory,signal transduction, mechanism of immune cell activity and so on. The second is the research of medicinal fungi fermentation technology, biological transformation and application of industrialization, including the isolation, hybridization, rapid identification and cultivation of medicinal fungi; biological transformation and chiral drug separation of steroidal drug intermediates; industrialization of cordyceps and so on; The third is the research on the variability of microorganisms, such as mutagenesis of medicinal fermentation bacteria and mechanism of the formation and diffusion of acquired drug resistance of pathogenic microorganisms. The current profession has 2professors, 4 associate professors, 2 lecturers and 1 doctoral supervisor. In recent years, more than 10 items have been launched, including National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program), National “Major New Drug Discovery” Science and Technology Major Project, National Key Technology Support Program, The National Natural Science Foundation of China and Provincial and Ministerial Level Scientific Research. It has obtained many approved patents and provincial and ministerial level awards.
